2nd myITG Supplier Forum: Improving Data & Integration
The 2nd myITG Supplier Forum, organised by TecAlliance, took place in Cologne on 12 March 2025, bringing together suppliers, industry experts, and ITG representatives from multiple companies. The event focused on how myITG has evolved, its key objectives, and new platform improvements designed to help suppliers work more efficiently with trading groups.
What is myITG?
myITG is a platform designed for parts manufacturers to streamline interactions with international trading groups (ITGs) by providing clarity, organisation, and transparency in data management. It ensures accurate and up-to-date global membership details with unique member to customer mapping via myITG ID.
myITG also allows users to merge CRM and sales data into a single tool, offering a comprehensive view of each member and customer. By integrating structured reporting derived from TecDoc product groups, standardised data formats, and collaborative planning, myITG transforms supplier ITG meetings into a seamless and efficient process.
A Day of Learning and Collaboration
The day started with a warm welcome from TecAlliance CEO Peter van der Galiën. This was followed by Marco Monsees, who explained recent updates to myITG, upcoming features, and what suppliers can expect next, and David Winter then presented a comprehensive overview of TecAlliance’s strategic orientation.
Metin Keser (MAHLE), Kai Guido Mueller (Schaeffler), and Christian Lamon (Nissens), shared their experiences using myITG. They explained how it has helped them improve their workflows, reduce errors in data, and simplify processes with ITGs. Their input showed suppliers real examples of how myITG is making a difference.
Breakout Sessions: Commercial & Technical Applications
In the afternoon, attendees joined focused sessions depending on their interests:
- Business Session: This session looked at how suppliers use advanced myITG functionality, improve their daily business processes, and fit it into their overall organization strategy.
- Technical/Data Session: This session focused on how suppliers can link myITG with their existing internal systems and create master dataset for automated reporting
These sessions gave suppliers practical tips and allowed them to share experiences and ask questions about using myITG more effectively.
Looking ahead: Continuous Development
With ongoing improvements to myITG, suppliers have better tools to manage data, reduce errors, and collaborate more effectively with trading groups. The feedback from this event will help shape future updates, ensuring myITG continues to meet supplier needs.
